Meet Christine Horton, MD, MSCR
Christine Horton, MD, MSCR is a board-certified Obstetricians/Gynecologist and Urogynecologist. She provides gynecologic services including minimally invasive surgery, in-office procedures, contraception, hormone therapy and perimenopausal care.
In addition to routine gynecologic care, Dr. Horton performs specialty care for women with urogynecologic issues including urinary incontinence, recurrently urinary tract infections, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain and vulvar issues. She can do both native-tissue and mesh-associated repairs for those dealing with stress urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse in a minimally invasive approach with either vaginal-only surgery or use of laparoscopy including the DaVinci Robot System.
Dr Horton worked at Planned Parenthood Clinic in Boston prior to attending University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, graduating in 2010. She completed an internship at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York prior to completing her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at University of North Carolina (UNC) Chapel Hill in 2014. She worked as an attending in general Obstetrics and Gynecology at UNC Chapel Hill and Wake Medical Center North in Raleigh, North Carolina while getting her Masters of Science in Clinical Research through the Gillings School of Public Health at UNC Chapel Hill. She completed a subspecialty training at University of Southern California in Urogynecology training with both Urologists and Urogynecologists in 2019.
She began working at OC Pelvic Health and Wellness in Mission Viejo, CA prior to moving to where she considers home in Arcadia. She is licensed as a physician and surgeon by the Medical Board of California. She is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Urogynecology Society and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Horton is affiliated with the USC Hospital in Arcadia, California and the Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California. These affiliations provide patients at Rose Women’s Health with extended access to medical facilities including the DaVinci Robot system.
