What to Pack in Your Hospital Bag
You’ve made it this far and now you’re struggling to figure out what to pack for your delivery? "Do I need a breast pump? Maybe the hospital has one? Do I really need all of these clothes?"
Here we have a list of items you should pack in your hospital bag and what the hospital will provide you with!
This list is just to get you started and is not fully inclusive.
- At this time, we highly recommend you install a car seat for your baby
Hospital Will Provide:
- Breast pump
- Sanitary pads and feminine care supplies
- Disposable Underwear
- Diapers and diapering supplies
- Clothing for baby while in hospital
- Blankets
- Gowns
- Nipple cream
- Formula, if necessary
Bring from Home:
- Clothes to go home in
- Government Issued ID
- COVID-19 Vaccine Card/Negative COVID test within the last 72 hours if available
- Insurance Card
- Phone/Charger/Camera
- Eye Glasses, if necessary
- Robe
- Pillow from home, if preferred
- Toiletries
- Outfit for baby to go home in
- Consider a personal fan and tennis balls for massage
- Lip balm
